British fast food is everywhere, be it multi-national corporation franchises or smaller, independent establishments. In this collaboration, David Garner’s external night views of these establishments merge with Emyr Payne’s intimate portraiture to reveal the character, love and elbow grease that ensures their survival.

When you look hard enough through the glass, you will find the full range of human emotion and resilience.
