The Photocopy Club: IN TRANSIT

FESTIVAL SPEAKER WEEKEND EVENT

We are pleased to welcome The Photocopy Club to this year’s Northern Eye Festival Speakers Weekend on 4th/5th October.

Their IN TRANSIT project is a travelling zine library and photographic exhibition space.

The Photocopy club started in 2011, bringing affordable open submission exhibitions to the world.

In 2024 they started the IN TRANSIT project, working to bring photography out of the gallery system and back into the hands of local and rural communities across the UK. 

MAKE YOUR OWN ZINE: At this year's Northern Eye Festival, the IN TRANSIT project will be running free ZINE MAKING drop in sessions for festival attendees over the weekend, where you can make your own photographic zine as well as check out their ever growing photographic zine library that features over 1000 photographic zines from around the world.
