David Paddy, or Paddy as he prefers to be known, studied at the University of Derby for a B.A. Hons. in Photography under the tutelage of such leading photographers as John Blakemore, Richard Sadler and Olivier Richon.
After leaving Derby, Paddy went on to become a Lecturer in Photography, Graphics and New Media at Yale College in Wrexham, one of the leading FE colleges in the country. During this time his work was exhibited both nationally and internationally and he continued to work as a freelance photographer and designer.
Fifteen years later, after guiding many students through their course work and on to higher education and promising careers in the arts, Paddy took a leap of faith and left to concentrate on his own photography and fine art practice.
