The Northern Eye International Photography Festival is a new collaboration between the Oriel Colwyn photography gallery and Aberystwyth's The Eye Festival.
We are thrilled to be bringing such outstanding photographers, speakers and exhibitions to North Wales for its first international photography festival.

The main Northern Eye Festival speakers weekend takes place on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th October at Theatr Colwyn, Abergele Road, Colwyn Bay

Major Transport links
Theatr Colwyn/Oriel Colwyn is around a 10 minute walk from both Colwyn Bay train station (West Coast Main Line) and Colwyn Bay Town Centre. Colwyn Bay is on a direct exit from the A55 giving access from all over the North West and beyond via M62/M56. From Junction 21 of the A55, follow signs for Colwyn Bay Town Centre.

There are various Pay and Display car parks in the town, with designated disabled parking bays. Parking is also available on many town streets but limited to 2 hours until 5pm, to which then it is free of charge.
Several bus services pass through Colwyn Bay and right past Theatr Colwyn/Oriel Colwyn :
12 – Rhyl Bus Station – Regular service running approx every 10 minutes, Monday-Saturday. Limited service on Sunday.

If you are exiting Colwyn Bay train station, walk up the main High Street to the top of the road then turn left. Continue for approx. 5 minutes. Theatr Colwyn/Oriel Colwyn will be on your left.
